Jiwon Choi
I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Princeton University.
I primarily work on topics in labor economics, urban economics, and economic history. My works examine how local labor markets, firms, and workers respond to policy and structural economic changes.
I will be on the job market in the 2022-23 academic year. In my job market paper, I examine the long-run effect of deindustrialization on local economies from the setting of New England textile towns in the 1920s.
